Education Abroad Training

Are you a study abroad novice but want to get involved?

This new program will familiarize inexperienced faculty/staff with successful practices in leading short-term study abroad and managing relationships with partner institutions. It includes experienced faculty/staff serving as mentors, so you can observe all facets of short-term study abroad program development – from writing a proposal and creating a budget to recruiting students.

You can also experience traveling abroad with students prior to leading a group on your own.

The Office of International Education and Development will support faculty/staff travel to partner institutions to acquaint them with the operations, personnel and offerings of the university’s partners.
